HOT JOBS
Medi-Spa Physician
Qualifications: : Must have Medical degree (MBBS) & a valid medical license (int’l or US)
Responsibilities: : The Medi-spa Physician administers cosmetic medical procedures to on onboard guests. They must possess the clinical knowledge to administer these procedures safely and effectively and be able to explain accurately all aspects of the products and services to the guests.
Jr Sous Chef
Qualifications: : Minimum 5 yrs experience of which at least two years working as a Jr Sous Chef with Cruise lines
Responsibilities: : Monitor and ensure all culinary standards and allergy guidelines are adhered to.Provide feedback on recipe formulation to Executive Chef.Establish food quality standards during storage, production and service.Provide leadership for all direct reports.
Lighting Technician
Qualifications: : 2 years of professional experience & strong know of lighting equipment & DMX control systems.
Responsibilities: : Operating Rigs, circuits and focuses lighting equipment for assigned shows.Programs lighting computer/console during technical rehearsals as assigned.Performs fixture /circuit check before each show to ensure show set-up is complete and exact.
Executive Chef
Qualifications: : Advanced Culinary Skills, Leadership Experience. Minimum 10 yrs of experience in the profession
Responsibilities: : Ensure efficient operation of all food production areas, to constantly analyze quality & cost of food production and monitor time management.To ensure safe,quality food production and full guest satisfaction.
Executive Pastry Chef
Qualifications: : Min 2 years experience at the same level in cruise line.
Responsibilities: : Effectively supervise and manage the onboard pastry/bakery production, ensuring that quality standards and procedures are in line with company rules and regulations. The Pastry Chef ensures that pastry personnel are guided and trained in order to be productive.
Tailor/Linen Keeper
Qualifications: : Min 2 years experience in tailoring and linen keeping with hotel or cruise line. Strong English.
Responsibilities: : Repair any torn or damaged linen for Hotel Department, alter guest clothes and company issued uniforms as required. Carry out repairs of curtains and drapes. Assist with all linen inventories.
Stage Manager
Qualifications: : Min 2 yrs of professional experience onboard cruise lines at the same level.
Responsibilities: : Assigns and manages set up & striking for theater, cinemas and lounges for shows, cabarets, lectures, music sets and other ship events. Ensures all technical equipment is fully operational and maintained.
Sous Chef
Qualifications: : Advanced Culinary Skills & Leadership Experience, with a min of 10 years in the profession.
Responsibilities: : Sous Chef is responsible for smooth & efficient operation of food production areas in assigned galleys. Assists Executive Sous Chef, produces and maintains the expected level of food quality in their area of responsibility.
Watch Specialist
Qualifications: : Min. exp.of 2 -3 yrs, Strong technical background with excellent communication & positive attitude.
Responsibilities: : As a Fine Watch Specialist, your job will consist of selling a variety of luxury watches in a sophisticated retail environment as well as demonstrating an extensive knowledge of the product and experience in a watch sales environment.
Jewellery Sales Specialist
Qualifications: : Min. exp of 2 to 3 yrs, knowledge in fine Jewellery (diamonds, gold & gemstones).
Responsibilities: : As a Fine Jewellery Specialist, you will be responsible for selling a wide assortment of high end jewellery and luxury items in a sophisticated retail environment while demonstrating exceptional guest service and selling skills and product knowledge.
General Technician
Qualifications: : Technical theatre qualifications and experience. Knowledge of sound, video and lighting equipment.
Responsibilities: : Responsible for assisting stage technical team in the day-to-day operation of the entertainment venues, with a broad knowledge of lighting, sound and video skills.
Chef de Partie
Qualifications: : Min. 8 years exp. in quality hotels/restaurants. Extensive European culinary training + leadership
Responsibilities: : Run a main section independently with as little supervision as possible. Must have in-depth knowledge of all sections within the hot and cold kitchen and strong leadership skills and the ability to train and coach subordinates.
Butcher
Qualifications: : Min. 3 years in the profession (Quality Hotels or Restaurants); basic butchery skills are required.
Responsibilities: : Food responsible for handling all raw meat preparations assigned by the Head Butcher. Must have basic professional butcher knowledge and have a clear understanding of how to organize the stores/freezer, being familiar with company standard items.
Chef De Cuisine
Qualifications: : Advanced culinary skills, leadership exp.. Min. 10 years in exp. in quality hotels + restaurants.
Responsibilities: : Oversee the entire galley assigned, to ensure the smooth operation of all events, food preparations, presentation and delivery over the course of the day. To serve as the link between their own galley and the Main Galley
Chef de Partie Pastry
Qualifications: : Min. 4 years in quality hotels and restaurants. Preferred cruise ship exp. in similar position.
Responsibilities: : Assist the Executive Pastry Chef to supervise and manage the onboard Pastry/Bakery Production, ensuring quality standards and procedures. The CDP Pastry ensures that pastry personnel are guided and trained in order to be productive.
Broadcast Manager
Qualifications: : Qualifications in Broadcasting in theater, television, live events or cruise ships preferred.
Responsibilities: : Set up and operate broadcast equipment for assigned programming. Maintain public audio channels for background music and maintain quiet areas. Liaise with F&B Manager for appropriate audio content in restaurants. Filming, editing and broadcasting.
Assistant Chef de Partie
Qualifications: : Min. 6 years experience. Served in similar role in cruise lines, 5 star hotels or top restaurants.
Responsibilities: : Responsible for leading and supporting a multi-cultural team of Galley personnel. Fully responsible for an assigned section and its entire food production. Following set recipes, dish guidelines and maintaining economical work practices.
Acupuncturist
Qualifications: : Master’s Degree in Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine. Minimum 2000 classroom and clinic hours.
Responsibilities: : Come practice your passion while seeing the world! Help us bring Traditional Chinese medicine to the cruising population. After completing training in the USA on marketing techniques and treatment protocols, you will serve a 7 month contract onboard.
Nail Technician
Qualifications: : Prof. qual. Min1 yr exp. Full set acrylic nails 1 hr 10 min w/ French polish. Excellent English.
Responsibilities: : Before joining training includes intensive creative nails course, promotions, retail skills, Elemis rituals for the feet and hands, Gentle Touch Teeth Whitening system. 9 month contract in a Spa At Sea with one of 25 luxury cruise line companies.
Beauty Therapist (F)
Qualifications: : Professional certificate required. Min 6 mos experience. Strong English, teamwork, customer service.
Responsibilities: : Specialize as either a skin care specialist, body and detox specialist or a holistic therapist. Learn Ionithermie body cleansing and firming, La Therapie facials. Elemis products. Massages, body wraps, facials for men and women.
Spa Therapist (F)
Qualifications: : Professional diploma. Min 1 year experience. Excellent English communication and customer service.
Responsibilities: : Pre-embarkation training incl. Elemis ten-day course - focus is on standards, professionalism and revenue. Deep tissue massage techniques, muscle detoxifying seaweed wraps, Aroma Stones therapy. 9 month contract in a Spa-At-Sea with of 25 luxury cruise line companies.
Hair Sylist
Qualifications: : Professional diploma. Min 1 year experience. Excellent English communication and customer service.
Responsibilities: : You will work with all of types of hair, on both ladies and gentlemen, offering all services available in land based salon, plus more: teeth whitening, Elemis Exotic Hair and Scalp Ritual, ladies hair up styles and blow-dries for formal evenings, colouring and cutting.
Fitness Instructor
Qualifications: : PT cert required + yoga, pilates, ETM preferred. Min 1 yr exp. Excellent English & cust. service.
Responsibilities: : Lead classes and perform Personal Training sessions on board. Successful applicants attend a three week intensive training course for specially designed programs and business model, as well as receive tuition on public speaking, seminars, Pilates, Yoga and Spinning.
Food Artist/Carver/Decorator
Qualifications: : Min 1 yr formal culinary training + 3 yrs kitchen exp. OR 3 contracts as Food Stylist onboard.
Responsibilities: : Prepare all food buffet garnishes and decorations to include (but not limited to) Ice Carvings, Fruit and Vegetable carvings, buffet and function / party decorations. Assist other sections in the galley as directed by the CDP.
Bar Waitress
Qualifications: : Min 1-2 yrs 5 * Hotel service experience. Basic knowledge of service techniques. Excellent English.
Responsibilities: : Jointly responsible for fast and smooth operation of assigned working area. Ensure fast, efficient and courteous service. Maximum sales revenues and performance within the budget.
Cabin Stewardess
Qualifications: : 5 * Hotel or Gulf exp. in Housekeeping dept. Service and team orientated. Fluent English
Responsibilities: : Cleanliness, service and sanitation in assigned cabin section according to housekeeping procedures and policies. Communicating with guests about their requests. Monitoring of the technical condition of the assigned cabins.
Laundryman
Qualifications: : 5* Hotel Exp. Knowledge of hotel laundry equipment
Responsibilities: : Passenger, Ship’s, Uniforms, Officers’ and Crew Laundry - washing, drying and ironing as per Laundry Master’s instructions. Correct handling of equipment. Cleanliness, maintenance, safety, inventory duties.
